MMA launches mid net worth proposition

Intermediary-only insurer MMA has launched a new home insurance policy, MMA Lifestyle.

The company said that the product has been designed for more affluent homeowners who have higher than average requirements and who do not fit into the high net worth category.

MMA Lifestyle will be available on full cycle EDI through MIsys from February following on from their announcement of a strategic partnership with Misys' Countrywide network.

'Quote only' will also be available on three other software houses - Sirius, CDL and SSP. MMA said that future roll out of a full cycle EDI

UK commercial rates still falling by 5% – Marsh

UK insurance rates fell by 5% in the final quarter of last year, maintaining the speed of decline seen in Q3, according to Marsh, with financial and professional lines as well as cyber seeing the steepest declines.
