Insurer claims industry first with mobile payment cover

Insurance2go.co.uk has said its policy covering mobile phone payment technology fraud is the first of its kind.

According to a report in the Independent more UK shoppers are using mobile phones to pay for goods and services - mobile wallet technology - than ever before and a host of retailers are preparing to accept this payment method.

Insurance2go said it would cover losses resulting from payments from stolen phones as mobiles were likely to become even more attractive to thieves.
