Swinton to create more than 100 jobs in Manchester

Swinton is to create more than 100 call centre jobs to manage new business coming in from a deal struck with HPI.

HPI, which checks the history of used cars, has entered into partnership with Swinton to supply its network of 4,500 car dealerships with free ‘7-day driveaway’ insurance.

As a result, Swinton is creating 120 jobs at a call centre in Manchester to manage and deliver this new product which will go live in June 2012.

Kelly Ogley, Swinton’s operations director, said: “We’ve launched two new products, namely telematics ‘Drive It Down’ and HPI Driveaway, with many more in the pipeline.
