Paymentshield targets online system to attract brokers

Paymentshield is to invest over £2m in its Inertia Online System and overhaul its insurer panel as it bids to enhance the products and services it offers to brokers.

Tim Johnson, chief executive of Paymentshield admitted that the system required improvement and that a series of changes would be implemented.

In particular, the contents sum insured on the firm’s current home insurance product for both new and existing customers will be increased in addition to introducing a single stage complaints process.

Paymentshield said a number of further enhancements to their products would be unveiled later this year.
