Beazley acquires affinity business team

Beazley has bought-in the team that underwrites the Lloyd’s Small Business Consortium in a move designed to increase access to the book of enhancement and affinity business.

Beazley has provided underwriting capacity for the Small Business Consortium, managed by SA Meacock Syndicate 727, for nine years.

The three underwriters for the consortium - John Marks, Paul Driver and Phillip Misztela - will join Beazley and the consortium's portfolio will be 100% underwritten by Beazley at year end. They will form part of Paul Bromley's small business team at Beazley.
