Liberty targets broker service with underwriter move

Liberty Syndicates has appointed Mark Aspinall as class underwriter for specie and fine arts in a bid to strengthen its broker service.

Mr Aspinall - who will be based in Liberty Syndicates' Plantation Place South head office - will report to Michael Burle, class underwriter, war and terrorism, specie and fine art.

He boasts more than 25 years' experience in the London insurance market, having worked for both Lloyd's syndicates and insurance companies.
