Perkins Slade managing director for corporate business Darren Rowe has left the broker after 18 months in the role.

Rowe, who was previously Powerplace sales and marketing director, told Insurance Age: "It was my decision, I very much enjoyed my time there but just wanted to move on.

"The business is in a strong position moving forwards, it's a great company and I'm sure it will go from strength to strength.

"I believe I added something to it during my time there."

In light of Rowe's departure Julia Harrop, currently client service director, will now head up the corporate team.
