Aviva replaces CFO Regan with Stoddard

Insurer confirms that new recruit will assume role in May 2014.

Aviva has confirmed that Blackstone boss Tom Stoddard will replace Pat Regan as CFO.

Stoddard - who will assume the role on 5 May 2014 - has been a principal corporate adviser to Aviva since the start of 2013.

He is currently senior managing director, head of global financial institutions, advisory at the investment firm.

And he will receive a basic annual salary of £675,000, as well as a standard executive director bonus opportunity of up to a maximum of 150% of his basic salary annually.
