UK General cutting over 1000 broker partnerships
Details follow announcement of “a more select approach to broker relationships” in May.
UK General has ended 100 relationships with commercial brokers as it looks to reduce its agency base from 1,500 to 350.
UK General commercial managing director Mike Keating confirmed that the Leeds-based provider was ending arrangements with firms that represented "passive" agencies and those that were not proving productive.
"We've had a past where we have tried to be all things to all men and I believe we have not been able to deliver the level of service which regional brokers rightly demand
