New Aviva UKGI CEO to build on broker relationships

Colm Holmes says he will spend time getting to know brokers.

Aviva's new CEO for its UK general insurance division, Colm Holmes, has told Insurance Age that the next stage of its development will include building on its broker relationships.

He will take up the role, subject to regulatory approval, on 1 June and has been promoted from his current role as chief financial officer of the business.

Maurice Tulloch, who took on the position of chairman of Aviva Global General Insurance in January, will remain as UKGI CEO until that date.
