Products: Macmillan Sheikh launches electrical contractors scheme

Macmillan Sheikh has launched a scheme for electrical contractors and allied trades as part of its programme of commercial schemes development for the intermediary and direct markets.

Cover includes employer’s liability and public and products liability, including inefficacy of products, defective workmanship, damage to property being worked upon, contractual liability and professional indemnity.

The new facility extends to electrical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning/refrigeration, plumbing and gas-fitting contractors. The broker claimed the scheme had been designed to provide a range of covers in today’s litigious society.
