Can a woman from the Black, Asian, and minority ethnic (BAME) community ever head up a big insurance firm in the UK?

Well, attending Aon’s & Zurich’s multicultural event on 29 June which challenged the issues of diversity for BAME and international women would lead you to believe so.

Although, looking outwardly at the industry I believe that it is very clear that BAME women seem to be the most underrepresented group in the workplace.
