ERS gains approval for expansion into new business lines
The provider's Syndicate 1856 is moving into business classes including D&F property, marine and energy liability, political risk, terror and war, cargo and specie and professional lines, following $350m capital injection.
ERS has announced that Syndicate 1856 has gained the necessary approvals to start writing new lines of business globally.
The provider stated that the move follows a significant recruitment drive where it has assembled specialist talent from across the market to provide capability to write specialty lines of business.
It will now expand into business lines including D&F property, marine and energy liability, political risk, terror and war, cargo and specie, professional lines and specialty
