Axa aims for better broker service in regional reshuffle

Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has appointed Ed Pugh to the newly-created role of head of new deals.

Mr Pugh is currently the Reading branch manager and, in his new role, will focus on delivering deals with brokers more promptly and efficiently.

Linda Courtney, London branch manager, will take over at the helm of the Reading branch – a role she held previously before moving to London.

Axa's Reading branch was recently the subject of an internal investigation following an emailing error.

Ms Courtney will be replaced by the current Ipswich branch manager Martyn Grime, who will in turn be replaced
