Ashgrove Insurance buys Manchester-based Lloyd Howard Insurance Services

Ashgrove Insurance has expanded with the purchase of a Manchester-based insurance broker.

The Lancashire-based firm has bought Lloyd Howard Insurance Services.

Established in the 1920s, Lloyd Howard brings with it over £1m in gross written premium and all staff will remain with the company.

Stephen Duffy, MD at Ashgrove, said the Lloyd Howard team would “complement my existing team and allow us to continue to deliver the highest client and insurer service possible”.

Duffy added: “In the first year of trading our organic growth was 34% and I am keen to complement this with quality
