Aon Professional Risks has entered the solicitors' indemnity market
with a specialist arrangement underwritten by Brit. Brit is targeting law
firms with 11-25 partners and intends to visit prospective clients, an
approach Aon uses in writing risks for firms with up to 10 partners.
Meanwhile, Zurich Professional claims to have quoted for up to 15% of the
solicitor market already, after opening early for renewal.

UK commercial rates still falling by 5% – Marsh
