Kwik Fit survey reveals strength of people's attachment to their cars
Most people would not give up their cars even if public transport in their area was improved, according to a survey carried out by Kwik Fit Insurance.
Most people would not give up their cars even if public transport in their area was improved, according to a survey carried out by Kwik Fit Insurance.
The company questioned 721 people 79% of whom said they would be reluctant to give up their cars even if there was better provision of buses and trains.
Findings from the ‘Big Motoring Survey' also show people are spending a substantial amount of time in their cars. Of those questioned in the survey 20% said they spend 10 to 20 hours in their car
