The theatrical production sub-class of Markel International’s entertainment book of business was significantly impacted when Covid-19 came to the UK and spread like wildfire.

Akin to other insurers at the time, Markel International was paying out losses within its film, television and commercial production sub-classes, while continuing to safeguard business in the new Covid world.

During this period, film, television, and commercial producers were forced to push their creativity to new levels
