Bristol brokers come to the aid of Allianz staff at risk of redundancy
Allianz UK CEO Jon Dye has said that the business will have completed all staff consultations by early September and remains confident that the final job loss total will fall below the 250 “worst case scenario”.
In July Allianz announced another possible 80 redundancies, on top of the 170 unveiled in April.
Speaking after Allianz UK revealed a 37% increase in profits for the first half of 2016, Dye said: "One of the pleasing things is that in Bristol, where a lot of the impacted people work, we have had broker partners ring us up and say they would be happy to offer some of those affected jobs, as they are hiring, and they know that the people will be well trained." He added others could be redeployed
