Brightside hails policy growth

Brightside Group has revealed that it expects to report "significant growth" in turnover and profit for 2012 and has also unveiled a share buy back.

Markerstudy adds to pawn offering

Markerstudy Group, primarily known for insurance, has expanded its retail division with the acquisition of Colchester-based pawnbroker E J Markham & Son.

Market moves: Making moves in the Midlands

The Midlands was the place to be this month with numerous appointments and promotions at all levels, with Commercial Express in particular the source of a few moves. Lorica and Oxford Insurance Brokers also added several employees to their teams.

Markerstudy Toba “totally unacceptable”

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has slammed the one hour reporting requirement of an accident claim in Markerstudy’s new terms of business agreement (Toba) as totally unacceptable.
